![]() ![]() Tier 4: Difficult to Have Success Within the Current Meta But overall still feels like a bit of a force in most situations, leaving Genji on the sideline until further notice. Or with Orisa, Genji players can build their ultimate quickly with a dash/Halt combo. Some teams may find success with Genji/Ana Dive variants if the Genji player is able to find the right targets. Since his nerfs a few months ago, many players have found him to be pretty useless on most maps. However as Dive and Rush comps find their way back into the meta, Genji sits in an interesting position. Tier 3: Good Situational Picks but Less Strong Overall Seeing as teams forced that composition way before the Orisa buffs, expect to see plenty of the combo on the ranked ladder this season. A new brawl tank is interesting to see because now teams can opt for Rein/Orisa compositions on small control points. Now Orisa can waddle forward into the middle of the team fight and tank head shots while fortified. Then there’s the Orisa buff that no one was asking for, but players received anyway. More realistically it’s probably a combination of the nerfs from Wrecking Ball and Echo that have allowed Reinhardt to come back into the scene. It’s most likely the persistence of the entire main tank player base thats kept Reinhardt in the meta. And yet he is one of the most played main tanks at every level, including professional play. Every prominent DPS character can put an absolutely beating onto the crusader. ![]() By all accounts Reinhardt should probably be all the way at the bottom of the tier list. Well, there really isn’t any good reason why Reinhardt has bounced all way back up to the second tier. ![]() If you need any more help related to this game, make sure to check out more of our Overwatch 2 Guides.Tier 2: Good Alternatives to Tier 1 and Still Viable Overall So that’s it for this season, and we will be updating this list when we see changes in the meta, including Nerfs and Buffs. As the days go by, we will be updating this list with new changes and opinions of other pro players. You can use this tier list to pick the right heroes according to your previous playstyle and test them out during this time period. A fully-charged critical shot will still eliminate 150 health targets regardless of range. The average range to still eliminate a 200 health hero at full charge is around 50 meters. Tracer’s Pulse Pistols’ spread has been increased by 15% and on the other hand, Widowmaker sees a change that reduces her one-shot capabilities on maps with long sightlines.ĭeveloper Comment: These changes to Widowmaker’s weapon falloff are intended to reduce her one-shot capabilities on maps with extremely long sightlines. ![]() They are now disabled similarly to Tracer’s Recall or Sombra’s Translocator, which are abilities that also phase out and can move the player. Reaper and Moira suffer the most due to this change because they won’t be able to fade/go into wraith form when they are stuck by the grenade.ĭeveloper Comment: The Reaper and Moira changes are addressing an inconsistency with the interaction of Wraith Form or Fade with mobility-locking effects such as Junkrat’s Steel Trap, Sigma’s Gravitic Flux, Zarya’s Graviton Surge, and Cassidy’s Magnetic Grenade. The previous “Stuck” banner text alert confused Tracer’s Pulse Bomb message, so this mobility-locking status effect is being referred to as “Hindered.” Moira, Brigitte, Bastion, Wrecking Ball, Junkrat, Roadhog, LifeweaverĬassidy gets a massive buff where he’s now able to “hinder” players with his magnetic grenade.ĭeveloper Comment: The overall goals for Magnetic Grenade are to shift its use from purely damage into more of a utility, and change its deployment behavior from a close-range lock-on to more of an aimed projectile that magnetizes if it gets close to an enemy target.
